Last month I was told by my Director that I needed a mentor to help me with my new leadership venture. Hearing those words I panicked; wondering how in the world am I going to find a MENTOR… in LEADERSHIP!! One thing I knew for sure and asked specifically: GOD PLEASE… find me a true woman of God to mentor me in this new journey. I have always been a “Leader” but never under formal mentorship. A few days after declaring my desires in a Mentor, I was casually scrolling through Candice’s Uplift Leadership FB Page and saw “ MENTORSHIP” I had already met Candice once before and loved her. I decided to send her a FB PM and WOOOW!! She has already unlocked SOME THINGS!!! Candice recommended an audible for me to check out after our first Meet and Greet… and WOW it spoke to me BIG TIME! God already knew… “ first things first lets deal with this stronghold” … I absolutely love how strategic her meetings flow; I feel as if she already knows me like God already gave her the low down on me because after each meeting I get this URGE like YES Let’s go be A Phenomenal Leader. Her intentionality when it comes to mentorship is definitely a plus
